This Great Wildebeests Migration Safari has been designed specifically to focus on the Great Serengeti Wildebeests migration during river Mara crossing from July to October every year. The areas to be covered is the North-East Serengeti through the Grumeti towards the Ikorongo Controlled Area within Serengeti National Park where the majority of the wildebeests are usually found. A visit to the world famous Ngorongoro Crater is part of this safari as well.

The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu areas in Tanzania are the best locations for the months of January, February and March to witness thousands of wildebeests spread across the plains grazing on the rich short grass plains. Predator action is at its peak with great sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena and leopard and a very good chance to see adrenalin packed kills.

The journey for the key players in the Great Wildebeests Migration Safari are roughly three million wildebeest, starting in the south of the Serengeti, with the birth of half a million calves between January and March every year. This is the favourite season for many of the seasoned Serengeti guides: the air during these months is full of new life and action for the migrants.

Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park and at the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley.

We thank Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris for preparing wonderful 8 days- Great Wildebeests Migration during calving season safari. The safari was perfect and the program was well arranged. You may book your safari with any tour operator in Tanzania but if you want Reliability, Professional planning, Trip customization to your expectations, excellent communication, Selection of the best lodges, Super tasty food and to not worry about water or other drinks, just choose Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris.

We thank for being taken into most potential places of calving, we really offered modern cars that can both endure the wilderness and provide maximum comfort. Our guide Lalaito was very good man. He was not just taking us “from point A to point B”, lather, he was truly caring for us, making sure that we are comfortable and that all our wishes are fulfilled. He knows the area like his home and brought us to totally unexpected places.

Lalaito is also an excellent animal tracker and spotting. He was able to identify rare species in the distance, but also drove to the special sites so we could see them very close and enjoy. He is also a good chat partner so we have enjoyed the long trip also in this aspect.

For your well planned safari, you just ask Edward – The MD from Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris to be guided by Lalaito. You will have fun and enjoy your safari just as we did!

March 28, 2021

My partners and I spent 8 days on a safari with Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris – GVTS as we had to put our last week up there at the top of our favorite holiday list. Having discovered we had more time off than we expected over the Christmas holidays, we decided to travel further afield than we were originally planning. We started looking at a safari in Tanzania and reached out to a few companies based on potential reviews. Edward, the MD for Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris, was very quick with responding to communication and pulled together an 8-day safari itinerary that we booked only one week out and made it okay.

Upon arrival we were blown away by the professionalism and organization of this company. We were greeted at the airport by Edward himself, then we were taken greatly in the hands of our new best friend… our guide Maximilian.

For the whole 8 days, it has been just Maximilian, our partner and we in a super comfortable, and super spacious Land cruiser as we explored the Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks and the Ngorogoro Crater. Maximilian astounds us every day with his eagle eyesight … pointing out things like leopards lounging in trees and lions poking their heads up from the grass that we never would have seen ourselves because they are so camouflaged. We have seen everything and our photos look like we were professional National Geographic Photographers from just a compact DSLR camera. From cheetahs running, to lions mating, to baby cubs in a pride, to the migration of the zebra and wildebeest, it really does feel like the opening scene to “The Lion King” as cheesy as that sounds.

A huge part of our enjoyment was that our guide, Max, was so knowledgeable and became like a brother throughout the trip. His sense of humor, big smile and contagious laughter made us feel so welcomed – right at home from the start.

As far as value for money… Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris has got to be the best out there. The accommodation at each camp was outstanding, the vehicles were all in best condition with the pop top that makes for a comfortable ride and brilliant viewing while staying shaded all day, and did we mention WiFi on board??? Oh, and taking delicious 3 course meal We had opted for the mid-luxury package and were blown away at every overnight stop at just how “luxury” it was. The camps are magnificent and are Glamping at its finest!! I mean, when you have a full en-suite bathroom with a fancy bathtub inside your tent, you just never want to leave!!This safari is certainly going down in my books as an adventure of a lifetime and it’s all thanks to Maximilian and Global Vacanza Tours and Safari’s in general.

March 28, 2021

We just finished a two-week safari in Tanzania under the lead of Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris -GVTS. While planning the trip we looked for a local tour company and, after talking with several, found that Global Vacanza Tours and Safaris was very responsive to what we were looking for.

Our guide, Lalaito, was terrific! Ash for him!! He is from the area and spoke English as well as French. He was very experienced, kind, and listened carefully to what we wanted when there were small changes to make along the way contrary to our plans. We were amazed at the amount of information Lalaito had for us during the trip. We asked so many questions and he had a wealth of knowledge about the animals, local community and history of Tanzania. Our time with the Massai villagers, the Hadza tribe bushmen (a tour highlight),Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro National Park and the Serengeti National Park is unforgettable and one of the most interesting trips we’ve taken. The good places we stayed at were Mount Meru Hotel, The Massai Village, The Ngorongo Farm House, and the Acacia Lodge in Serengeti. Great food, kind people and close to the animals. Avoid Ngorongoro Castle, and although the Acacia Tarangire was very nice, it was way too far into the park on a very rough road, and there must be better alternatives.

Thank you Global Vacanza for preparing thiswonderful safari for us
