Day 1

Just after your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA), you will meet a GVTS guide who will take you to the hotel – Africa Tulip Hotel located in Arusha Town. The hotel will provide you with all the essentials for a comfortable stay: Rooms with hot water, well-mannered staff, a swimming pool, garden terrace as well as Internet access among others. In the morning, you will receive your tour briefing from our tour expert, who will also make sure you are ready to begin your safari just after your breakfast. Dinner and overnight at African Tulip Hotel.

Visiting Lake Manyara National Park

After your early breakfast, the GVTS tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Lake Manyara. The park derived its name from the Maasai word “Manyara”, which is the Swahili name for the plant, Euphorbia tirucalli. The Maasai use this plant to grow livestock stockades, which mature to a highly durable stock-proof hedge.

The Great Rift Valley is part of a fault in the earth’s crust which stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the mouth of the Zambezi River in Mozambique. The fault is so massive that when astronauts landed on the moon, the Rift Valley was clearly visible to them. Dinner and overnight at Manyara Serena lodge.

Visiting Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed to Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park and famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers a remarkable game-viewing experience in Africa. Your meals and overnight stay will be at Seronera Wildlife lodge.

Visiting Serengeti Central (Cental Seronera)

After your breakfast, you will proceed to the Central part of Serengeti. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “big five”, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.  our meals and overnight stay will be at Seronera Wildlife lodge.    


Visiting Ngorongoro Crater

Immediately after your breakfast, you will start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft will be seen. The high walls aside you and you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and various species of birds. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Your meals and overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge.

Visiting Lake Eyasi tour trip (Hadzabe, Datoga)

You will depart for Lake Eyasi to visit the bushmen and observe their activities such as hunting and wild fruits gathering. The Hadza or Hadzabe are an indigenous ethnic group in north-central Tanzania. They live in Lake Eyasi in the central rift valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau. The Hadza is just under1,000 in the population living as hunter-gatherers, among the last hunter-gatherers in the world. Your dinner and overnight will be served at Lake Eyasi Safri Lodge.


Visiting Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is one of the largest national parks in Tanzania located in the Manyara region, this place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Your dinner and overnight will be served at Tarangire Safari lodge.


Tarangire National Park - Arusha

You will continue with another game drive in Tarangire before proceeding back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at the airport or hotel for final preparations before departure.
