Full Day Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park
After your early breakfast, you will proceed to a walking safari in the Lake Manyara National Park under the escort of a professional government-armed ranger. In this park, you will see large herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees – Roots up- shoot down- also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for the Tarangire River which flows all year round and is the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. Your meals and overnight stay will be at Lake Manyara Tree Tops Lodge.
Travelling from Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater, 1.5 - 2 hrs
Distance: 59.1 km
After your early breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is an extensive highland area along the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. It is not a national park in the strict sense of the word but rather established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It exists to safeguard the interests of indigenous people as well as promote tourism. Thus, guests on safari have the unique experience of seeing Maasai herdsmen with their castles among the tremendous variety of wildlife found in the area. Your meals and overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Forest Lodge.
Optional activity,
Maasai Village Visiting
Olduvai museum visiting
Travelling from Ngorongoro Conservation Area (The Crater) to Serengeti National Park, 3 - 4 hrs
Distance: 152 Kms
Just after your breakfast, you will set off for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch and game drive en-route via Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. A UNESCO world heritage site and recently proclaimed 7th wonder of the world, Serengeti is famed for its annual migration where some six million hooves pound the open plains. Between July to October, witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again.
Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you an up close look at the animals you’ve only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants, and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Your dinner and overnight stay will be served at Serengeti Serena lodge.
Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park (North Lobo)
just after your breakfast, you will head north of Serengeti for a full-day game drive in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Witness a million wildebeests, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north. Your dinner and overnight stay will be served at Serengeti Migration Camp.

Tour Reviews
Brilliance in arranging African Safari, you couldn’t be in better hands.
I travelled to Tanzania in November 2020 with my nephew. We real enjoyed because our safari was well organized and I was wonderfully impressed by our drive guides expertise, breadth experience, depth of knowledge and ability to explain animals. I wonder how come nothing escaped his expert sighting. He managed to spot something so far away while driving. He managed to catch things / animal that we had to find it with binoculars and give us detailed explanation about it when needed. We really thanking him as we realized that our opinion of our guide as an extraordinary guide was confirmed. We saw and experienced many animals as we were not expected to observe.
As a great guide, he managed to make differences in our trip for it being good and being over-the-top amazing every day, day after day!. In day 7 we were all interested in seeing as many different birds as possible. – He managed to do so perfectly by cruising us and watch hundreds of various bird as well as taking photos. Thank you GVTS for arranging a wonderful safari. An experience we will relive in our lifetime.
Warmly Sincerely
