Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the area where a man (only Maasai people), livestock, and wild animals live in peace: Maasai cattle can sometimes be seen grazing alongside zebras on Ngorongoro’s grassland. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is not a national park but a conservation area which means that the Masai people were granted the right to continue to live there with their grazed animals eating together with wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the volcanic craters that form stunning backdrops to some of the most fertile and richest grazing grounds in Africa. Half Game Drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area (The Crater) and later starting a safari to Serengeti National Park, 3 - 4 hrs

On day 6 around noon just after a half-day game drive in Ngorongoro, you will set off for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch and game drive en-route via Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. A UNESCO world heritage site and recently proclaimed 7th wonder of the world, Serengeti is famed for its annual migration where some six million hooves pound the open plains. Between July to October, witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again.
Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you up-close look at the animals you’ve only seen in National Geographic: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants, and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle. Your dinner and overnight will be served at Serengeti Serena lodge.
Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park (North Lobo)
Again on days 8 and 9, just after your breakfast, you will head north of Serengeti for a full day game drive in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Witness a million wildebeests, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north. Your dinner and overnight stay will be served at Serengeti Migration Camp.
Back to Arusha and Departure
Just after your breakfast, you will have your last morning game drive at Serengeti North and afterward transfer to the Lobo airstrip for your flight back to Arusha.
