IBANDA-KYERWA NATIONAL PARK
The Ibanda-Kyerwa National Park is a new park founded in the Kagera region in Tanzania. This is the park where the three countries of Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda borders’ meet. The park covers an area of 200km2 with unique wildlife attractions. Sunrises and sunsets are also easily seen while being at the middle of the park. The park is fed by the Kagera River as the main source of water for this park and nourishes its rich resources. Kagera River is one of the largest rivers in Tanzania which acts as a boundary with Rwanda. The river separates the two nations as well as the two national parks; the Ibanda-kyerwa National park in Tanzania and the Akagera National Park in Rwanda.
